Campuses: Madrid and Segovia

IE Madrid, located in the heart of the city's financial district, is housed in the modern IE Tower. This vertical campus features cutting-edge facilities, collaborative workspaces, and direct access to Madrid’s vibrant urban culture.

In contrast, the Segovia campus is in the historic Convent of Santa Cruz la Real, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This campus uniquely combines historic architecture with contemporary amenities, providing a unique setting for academic pursuits.

Academic Programs and Innovation

While most renowned for its Bachelor of Business Administration program, IE also offers 22 undergraduate and 66 postgraduate programs in fields such as Law, Architecture, Communications, Computer Science & AI, Economics, International Relations, and Design–. The institution places strong emphasis on practical, hands-on learning, encouraging students to participate in real-world projects, research initiatives, and internships.

Demonstrating its commitment to innovation, IE recently acquired the historic Palacio de Mansilla in Segovia. This space is being developed into the university’s new Creative Campus, dedicated to architecture, design, art, fashion, and entrepreneurship. The campus will include state-of-the-art laboratories for fabrication, construction, and biomaterials as well as  digital classrooms and exhibition areas.

Global Perspective and Career Opportunities

IE’s international perspective is reflected in its diverse student body, as well as its extensive network of global partnerships. Through collaborations such as IE New York College (IENYC) in Manhattan, students have access to dual-degree programs and valuable international exposure.

The school’s graduates enjoy strong career prospects: 95 percent of job-seeking alumni secure employment within six months of graduation. Entrepreneurship is a key focus with 30 percent of alumni going on to launch their own ventures. IE has a global network of more than 75,000 alumni representing 182 countries.

Student Life and Community Engagement

Outside the classroom, IE offers a vibrant student life, with more than128 clubs and organizations that support a wide range of interests—from entrepreneurship and cooking to sports and photography. These extracurricular opportunities help students grow personally and professionally while building a global network.

Application Requirements and Process

IE has a rolling admissions policy, meaning there are no fixed application deadlines and submissions are reviewed as they are received. Highly motivated applicants are encouraged to apply as early in the fall as possible for admission to the following academic year, as popular programs tend to fill quickly. By January, the university’s admissions process becomes significantly more selective. Ivy Options counselors, whose students have successfully gained admission to IE, emphasize the importance of preparing for both the Kira online video interview and the final personal interview as well as meeting the other admissions requirements.

IE offers students unique, world-class environments to learn, grow, and prepare for successful careers in an interconnected world. For application assistance with IE—and other top universities in Europe and beyond—please contact info@ivyoptions.com.
